citizenM hotels position themselves as ‘designed for humans.’ To capitalise on the talk of AI stealing our jobs we created a film for the brand using entirely AI-generated footage, VO, and script, although the script had a little editing.

This was probably the first ai-generated ad created for a brand for real, but can’t be 100%, neither we, citizenM, the PR agency, nor the AI creator were aware of any at launch.
